What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Pick and Pack (Seasonal) - Referral Bonus Opportunity! position at RefrigiWear, Inc.?
RefrigiWear is looking for a full-time Pick and Pack worker. This position works in the Shipping Department and is primarily responsible for filling orders, including the picking, packing and shipping of product. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. Hours are M-F, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime will be required during our busy season.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain pick tickets, pick product using a RF scanner
- Must have scanner and barcode experience
- Obtain orders from cart and scan to match order in warehouse system
- Make carton of appropriate size
- Pack order items in carton
- Responsible for lifting/moving boxes from scale to pallet
- Operate pallet jack to load full pallets for freight onto truck
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using a scanner and barcode preferred
- Previous experience with warehousing or shipping systems a plus
- Ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail
- Dependable and able to work 40 hours a week plus overtime as needed
- Must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours per day
- Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
