Job Purpose:
To achieve 100% efficiency and accuracy in the organization and preparation of shipments and deliveries from the time it arrives at the branch to when it leaves.
Duties:
Includes all warehouse-related duties, which includes and is not limited to the following;
- The secure off-loading and up-loading of goods from containers/trucks.
- Preparation of daily and future shipments and deliveries.
- Maintains inventory and shipping records by completing logs.
- Maintains and replenishes packing supplies.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by following company policies and procedures.
- Accomplishes warehousing and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
- Computer knowledge a must
Skills/Characteristics:
- Mature, responsible individual who can commit 100% to this full-time job.
- Able to perform daily manual labor that requires handling of heavy items.
- Able to follow instructions and work independently.
- Punctual with a positive attitude and respect for fellow employees.
- Must have a valid Class C Driver’s License for driving delivery vehicles
Required License or certification:
- Class C Driver’s License
- DOT Medical Certificate may be required for large delivery vehicles
Salary is negotiable based upon knowledge and experience.
