Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Smyrna, TN, for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding while ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities include monitoring and recording patient vitals, reporting changes in health status to the medical team, and assisting in maintaining clean and sanitized environments. The role also involves providing emotional support and fostering a welcoming and caring atmosphere for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential or an active state-specific certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Experience and skills in basic patient care activities, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and assisting with mobility.
• Ability to monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient health conditions promptly and accurately.
• Familiarity with cleanliness and hygiene protocols in healthcare settings to maintain a safe environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to dealing with patients of diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility or long-term care setting is a plus but not required.
