Reflections Retirement Resort is a local, family-owned senior living company dedicated to providing exceptional care and creating communities where residents feel at home. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Director of Nursing (RDON) to provide clinical leadership and nursing oversight across our four assisted living and memory care communities in South Central Kansas.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nursing leader who enjoys working with people, developing strong teams, and making a positive impact across multiple communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide regional nursing oversight and clinical leadership for four assisted living and memory care communities
- Support and mentor Directors of Nursing and nursing leadership teams
- Ensure communities maintain high standards of resident care, safety, documentation, and clinical practices
- Provide guidance regarding Kansas assisted living and memory care regulations and compliance
- Monitor nursing practices, assessments, care plans, medication management, documentation, and quality of care
- Assist with surveys, audits, corrective action plans, and regulatory compliance
- Review clinical trends and help develop strategies to improve resident outcomes
- Assist with staff education, training, and development
- Help ensure consistent nursing policies and procedures across all communities
- Collaborate with Executive Directors and leadership to address resident care needs and challenges
- Serve as a resource and support system for nursing teams
- Travel regularly between our four South Central Kansas communities as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN License in Kansas
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Director of Nursing
- Strong knowledge of Kansas assisted living regulations and requirements
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in PointClickCare
- Previous assisted living and/or memory care experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and hold nursing teams accountable while building positive relationships
- Comfortable working independently and traveling between communities
- A passion for providing quality care to seniors and supporting the teams who care for them
