What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at Reeves Lavallee PC?
Reeves Lavallee, P.C. is a Worcester-based family law and civil litigation firm, and we're looking for an experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team. This is a role for someone who takes real ownership of case files, keeps court deadlines from ever becoming a fire drill, and treats client confidentiality as a given, not a reminder.
You'll work directly with attorneys on family law matters from intake through trial preparation — drafting, filing, client interviews, discovery, and everything in between. If you do your best work inside a clear system, hold yourself to a high standard on accuracy, and want to be trusted with real responsibility rather than just paperwork, you'll fit well here.
Reeves Lavallee, P.C. is a Worcester-based family law and civil litigation firm known for high standards, professional excellence, and complete dedication to client care.
Our core values are STEWARD:
- Stewardship and Integrity — Always do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Act with sound judgment, professionalism, and ethical responsibility in all matters entrusted to you.
- Transparency and Honesty — Take ownership of mistakes, communicate truthfully, learn from experience, and apply improvements moving forward.
- Excellence with Compassion — Approach every task with care, patience, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Treat colleagues and clients with respect while striving for high-quality outcomes.
- Work with Focus — Give full attention to the task at hand and follow it through to completion. Minimize distractions and manage responsibilities efficiently and responsibly.
- Accountability and Responsibility — Be accountable to clients, colleagues, and yourself. Own your actions, correct errors promptly, and move forward constructively.
- Reliability and Adherence to Deadlines — Meeting deadlines and honoring commitments are critical to team success.
- Diligence in a Drama-Free Environment — Maintain a professional, respectful workplace. Avoid gossip, escalate concerns appropriately, and contribute positively to team culture and morale.
We guarantee clients consistent communication, timely updates, and reliable support throughout their legal matter. Our team members are expected to uphold these values daily and contribute to a professional environment where excellence, responsibility, and respect define the culture.
