Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing essential support to attorneys in commercial real estate transactions.
Duties
Assist attorneys in all aspects of sophisticated (including several Fortune 500 companies) commercial real estate practice, representing sellers, buyers and tenants of retail shopping centers, office buildings and mixed-use developments.
The paralegal will have primary responsibility in title insurance related areas, including review and analysis of title documents and surveys, as well as working with escrow agents to clear title exceptions.
The paralegal will also have the major responsibility to oversee critical deal deadlines, including the closing of all purchase and sale transactions.
Further, the paralegal will assist the attorneys in preparation of closing documents, real estate contracts, leases and related documents, such as easement agreements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law office environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess complex information accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
