We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development – Marine Services technical sales professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the marine services and shipbuilding sectors and a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop relationships, and drive strategic growth.


Position Summary

This role is responsible for the proactive development of new business opportunities, supporting product development efforts, and maintaining relationships with key customers. Target customers include marine service companies, shipbuilders/shipyards, primarily in the US, plus offshore drilling contractors and operators in the Middle East markets.


Key Responsibilities

· Proactively establish and maintain strong customer relationships through in-person visits, calls, follow-ups, and written communication.

· Clearly communicate the technical and commercial benefits of the company’s products.

· Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and execute market development strategies.

· Identify and qualify new product development opportunities; gather and communicate customer requirements and market trends.

· Assist with the development of proposals, technical presentations, and sales tools.

· Register and maintain company profiles on customer/vendor portals; ensure inclusion on target customer’s approved vendor lists.

· Support quotation processes including pricing, delivery negotiations, and contract terms.

· Provide input on marketing materials and campaigns to support business development goals.

· Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team to support product design, improvement, and innovation based on market feedback.

· Maintain an up-to-date customer relationship management (CRM) system.

· Recommend participation in trade shows, industry conferences, and advertising campaigns to increase company visibility.

· Represent the company at relevant industry events and deliver professional presentations to stakeholders.


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a technical discipline (preferred).

· Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or technical sales within the marine, defense, or energy sectors.

· At least 3 years of direct experience selling technical equipment or services.

· Strong existing relationships with marine service companies and shipyards.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

· Demonstrated success in generating new business and closing sales.

· High energy, attention to detail, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
