Business Development Representative – Oil & Gas (Frac Services)

The Business Development Representative supports the company’s growth within the oil and gas industry by identifying and qualifying new opportunities with Tier 1 major operators. This entry-level role is designed for highly motivated individuals who want to build a career in energy services, with a focus on hydraulic fracturing. The position emphasizes relationship development, lead generation, and supporting senior commercial leaders in securing long-term partnerships with top operators. The role provides a foundation for both commercial and technical growth, offering exposure to client strategy, frac operations, and business negotiations in one of the most competitive sectors of the energy industry. Essential Responsibilities Research and identify potential Tier 1 operators and decision-makers within target basins. Prospect and qualify new leads through calls, emails, networking, industry events, and professional platforms. Assist in scheduling and coordinating introductory meetings between prospective clients and senior commercial leaders. Support the sales cycle by preparing presentations, proposals, and client follow-up communications. Track and maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and client interactions within CRM systems. Collaborate with the commercial and operations teams to align business development strategies with customer needs. Represent the company in a professional manner at conferences, trade shows, and customer visits. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred. Degrees in Business, Marketing, Petroleum Engineering, or other technical/related fields are considered highly beneficial. Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal. Highly motivated with a desire to succeed in a competitive, sales-focused environment. Comfortable with prospecting, outreach, and professional networking. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the fast-paced nature of the oil and gas sector. Team-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Professional communication skills with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders. Strong work ethic built on integrity, accountability, and reliability. Interest in oilfield services and the energy value chain, with the ability to learn frac-specific technologies and operational practices.
