Reeds Family Outdoor Outfitters is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in Onamia, MN! If you enjoy the outdoors, have a passion for retail sales, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Experience with Mille Lacs Lake, fishing, hunting, and the surrounding area is a plus. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.
What You'll Do
As a Sales Associate, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Retail Sales: Assist customers on the sales floor and over the phone, helping them find the products they need.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Merchandising: Maintain attractive, organized merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is well-stocked.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, replenishing, and carrying out merchandise for customers.
- Inventory Scanning: Use scanning equipment to assist with inventory counts, product updates, and troubleshooting scanning issues.
- Bait Sales: Assist customers with bait purchases and provide helpful product information.
- DNR Licensing: Assist customers with purchasing Minnesota DNR licenses.
- Store Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor and storefront.
- Team Support: Be flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks to keep daily store operations running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail sales and customer service experience is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Flexibility to move between departments and take on a variety of responsibilities.
- An interest in the outdoors and familiarity with Mille Lacs Lake and the surrounding area are highly desirable.
