What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Lead position at Reeb Millwork?
We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Production Team Lead to join our VALUES based organization. Compensation starting at $21.50 per hour, based on experience and skill level. In this role you will focus on:
Responsibilities:
- Assist with keeping work stations stocked with consumables and participate in taking weekly inventory of raw materials used in the department.
- Work with Supervisor to identify items needed for co-workers within the department to complete their daily tasks
- Mentors new employees within production zone to adhere to production policies and procedures.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for all processes and procedures within their production area, making themselves available for cross training and serving on teams that require their expertise.
- Studies and recommends new procedures to improve efficiency of processes and procedures.
- Advises Production Supervisor on training progress and performance concerns of employees within their areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience of doors (Plus)
- Carpentry knowledge (Plus)
- Experience in the building materials industry (Plus)
- Excellent hand and eye coordination and attention to detail is necessary skills to have.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
