Position Overview
The Junior Accountant will support the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn and grow within the accounting field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Maintain and organize accounting documents and support schedules.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with preparing financial reports and management summaries.
- Help track and monitor company expenses and budgets.
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation.
- Perform data entry and maintain accounting systems with accuracy.
- Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks, BuilderTrend, or other accounting software a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work both independently and collaboratively.

Compensation
- Compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience. Starting at $60,000
