ATM Inspection Technician - RISE Armored Services

Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the CIT Supervisor, the ATM Inspection Technician is responsible for cleaning the exterior of ATM’s and inspecting the machine for required functionality, decals and notices. This position requires a high level of attention to detail. The Technician operates alone in the field and therefore requires an individual who is self-motivated and has excellent time management skills. Additionally, the Technician will be responsible for processing bagged coin received by Rise Armored.

Pay starting at $21.00 per hour

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Clean the customer user area of an ATM/ITM (screen, keypad, depositor/dispensers) with provided cleaning supplies.
• Ensure the machine has appropriate ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) required stickers and/or notifications and functionality.
• Check customer branding stickers and replace as needed.
• Perform tests of machine alarm systems in coordination with ATM alarm service provider.
• Conduct assessments of ATM locations for safety concerns, lighting levels, and accessibility issues.
• Complete service reports documenting each service provided at each machine on a handheld device.
• Maintain inventory of necessary items for servicing the machines in the company service vehicle.
• Report all incidents, events, discrepancies, and faults regarding the company vehicle or daily assigned work.
• Document and process departmental work, including but not limited to; completing required reports and documents, verifying accuracy and completeness, and submitting necessary files before end of shift.
• Ensures compliance with all Security industry codes and standards, regulatory requirements and RISE policies and procedures as well as all applicable Local, State and Federal laws and regulations.
• Adheres to all security procedures and policies and maintains strict confidentiality of all client information.
• Completes training and self-study to achieve and maintain required knowledge of security practices, services and overall operations.
• Will serve as a backup to the Courier driver (delivering bags and packages) on an as needed basis.
• Works scheduled hours and maintains punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job satisfactorily, an employee must be able to carry out each essential duty competently. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and abilities required.

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with 3 years driving history.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain and maintain a Medical Examiners Certificate via US DOT approved medical examiners.
• Obtain and maintain a concealed pistol permit from their local law enforcement agency.
• Security, military or law enforcement service preferred.
• ATM servicing, and/or courier experience preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• No convictions for DUI/DWI or more than one traffic violation within the previous three years.
  
  

Skills/Abilities

• Effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards.
• Learn and apply information on a wide range of ATM and security service information, as well as compliance requirements, in order to assess security concerns, develop solutions, and provide comprehensive reports.
• Resolve problems utilizing knowledge and experience.
• Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.
• Successfully complete firearms training and annual qualifications.
• Use correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Operate computers and use business software and other standard office equipment.
• Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Set priorities and manage one’s own time effectively.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• An employee in this job works primarily outdoors. This may include exposure to extreme heat, cold, or other weather conditions.
• This position involves daily driving to various work locations.
• The work schedule is Monday-Friday during normal business hours with occasional evening shifts.
