What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmers Market Crew Member (Food Service / Cashier) position at Reds Pizza?
REDs Pizza is a fast-growing Neapolitan-style pizza pop-up serving at high-volume farmers markets including LMU and Century City.
We are looking for a reliable, fast-paced team member to assist with front-of-house operations, including customer service, food handling, and beverage prep.
This is a hands-on role in a high-energy outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders (cash & digital payments)
- Hand out pizzas quickly and accurately
- Prepare and serve lemonade drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the booth
- Communicate clearly with the team during service
Requirements
- Valid Food Handler Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) REQUIRED
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for 4-6 hours
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous farmers market or food service experience
- Experience with POS systems (Square, Toast, etc.)
- Experience handling cash transactions
Schedule
- LMU Farmers Market: Wednesdays (early morning start)
- Century City Farmers Market: Sundays
- Additional shifts/events may be available
