About Us
Mama Musubi is a small, passionate team serving handcrafted Japanese comfort food across Southern California. You’ll find us at vibrant farmers markets in South Pasadena, Irvine, and Smorgasburg DTLA, with our home kitchen based in Hollywood.
We’re looking for a Front of House Team Member to be front facing for our brand to guests at our South Pasadena Thursday market and join us at Smorgasburg DTLA on Sundays. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, love connecting with people, and thrive outside the traditional restaurant setting—this is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and break down our market booth
- Assemble and serve orders quickly and accurately
- Deliver warm, genuine customer service (you are the face of the brand!)
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate clearly with the Shift Lead throughout service
- Jump in wherever needed—teamwork is everything
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of food service or hospitality experience
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Comfortable driving (catering/delivery van experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work outdoors on your feet
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
- Must be available Thursdays and Sundays
