Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Care for floors through carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and appropriate maintenance techniques to preserve their appearance and longevity
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning products as needed to ensure continuous operation
- Assist with meal preparation or light cooking tasks when required, supporting overall household or facility needs
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Experience with laundry services including stain removal, folding techniques, and proper handling of delicate fabrics
- Knowledge of floor care methods such as carpet cleaning, waxing, buffing, and tile maintenance
- Background in custodial work within hotels or hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and janitorial best practices to uphold health regulations
- Previous experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently
