Vice President of Development – Hospitality
Overview
A private equity firm focused on hotel and hospitality assets is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead end-to-end execution of complex real estate development projects. The role is based in New York City and requires a strong track record delivering ground-up or major redevelopment projects, ideally including hotel/hospitality experience.
Responsibilities
- Support acquisitions with technical due diligence, feasibility, zoning review, and early budgeting.
- Oversee entitlements, permitting, and coordination with city agencies.
- Manage architects, engineers, and consultants through all design phases.
- Lead construction oversight, including schedule, budget, and quality control.
- Coordinate closely with internal investment teams and external partners.
- Deliver projects from concept through completion and turnover to operations.
Qualifications
- 10 years of real estate development experience.
- Proven history managing complex development projects (hospitality experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, design management, and construction oversight.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required
Salary : $225,000 - $275,000
