Responsibilities:

• Preparing complex Estate, Gift and Trust tax returns.
• Reviewing mid level Estate, Gift and Trust tax returns.
• Reviewing mid level individual income tax returns.
• Providing estate planning and compliance advice to clients.
• Performing/overseeing complex tax research projects.
• Proposing solutions to clients on tax issues and suggesting appropriate trust vehicles.
• Supervising and reviewing work of staff below manager level.
• Fostering client relationships.

What You Need to be Successful:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Active CPA license and/or JD
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience in Estate, Gift & Trust Tax
• Ability to manage and mentor staff
• Advanced technical knowledge of tax concepts and the ability to apply these services to various client situations
• Ability to travel on-site to clients as needed
• Live in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area
