Responsibilities:

• Conduct holistic business valuations, considering income, margins, assets, and overall business value for diverse scenarios such as shareholder interests, gift and estate matters, partner buyouts, and divorce proceedings.
• Apply advanced understanding of cash flow generation and various valuation theories to deliver accurate and insightful analyses.
• Manage valuation projects from inception to completion within a flat team structure, providing broad exposure to all stages of the process and fostering hands-on experience.
• Collaborate closely with team members, ensuring seamless project execution and continuous professional development.
• Participate in additional Redpath-related services, expanding expertise and enhancing perspectives across multiple business disciplines.
• Engage with clients to answer questions and communicate the team’s unique approach, highlighting how it can add value to their specific needs.

What You Need to be Successful:

• Extensive hands-on experience in business valuation across diverse industries, including gift, estate, and 409a valuations.
• Proficient in conducting thorough financial analyses and building robust Excel models.
• Skilled in collaborating directly with clients to gather information and clarify project objectives.
• Highly capable of drafting comprehensive valuation reports with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong critical thinking skills, consistently asking insightful questions to uncover client needs and ensure accurate valuations.
• Developed intuition for identifying value drivers and delivering high-quality work tailored to each engagement.
• Educational background in finance and accounting; actively pursuing valuation credentials such as CVA, ASA, or ABV (not a CPA).
• Flexible and prepared to accommodate quarterly travel and client site visits as required for the role.
