What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network/Windows engineer position at redolentech?
Role: Network/Windows engineer
Location: Minden, NV
Duration: 6-12 Months
Responsibilities:
- Run new network cables in our datacenter.
- Make configuration changes on HP/Aruba switches
- Migrate hyper-v Virtual Machines from old servers to new servers
- Remove old servers and prepare them for shipping
- Help users troubleshoot network connectivity issues
Qualifications & Skills (Not all skills are mandatory, but an ideal candidate should possess most (if not all) of these skills):
- Bachelors with 4 years of experience
- Powershell
- Windows Server Administration
- HP/Aruba Switch configuration/administration
- Microsoft S2D or Azure Stack HCI Design and implementation
- Microsoft Failover Clustering
- System Center Virtual Machine Manager
- AD integrated DNS/DHCP
