Duties
- Assist with the installation of framing, drywall, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials.
- Perform concrete finishing, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry work with precision.
- Support roofing, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing tasks as needed.
- Conduct heavy lifting and assist with concrete pouring or pumping to ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with power tools and heavy machinery on active sites.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating tools and equipment effectively.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and rebar installation.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques including stucco and tile work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines.
- Experience in renovation projects involving carpentry, framing (including metal stud framing), roofing, and restoration work.
- Skills in welding or metal fabrication are a plus but not required.
