We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist in framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and fixture mounting across various construction sites
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Install siding, roofing, flooring, tile, cabinetry, doors, and other fixtures as directed by supervisors
- Support concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and plastering activities for structural integrity
- Contribute to restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, stucco application, and water damage restoration efforts
- Assist with plumbing, electrical work, metal stud framing, fabrication, and remodeling tasks as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with scaffolding, scaffolds, scaffolding components or at heights
- Support team in assembly tasks such as fixture installation or custom woodworking projects
Experience
- Previous experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction estimating is preferred
- Hands-on experience with trim carpentry, framing carpentry or related fields such as roofing or siding is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics and blueprint reading is essential for success in this role
- Experience in restoration industry projects including mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks
- Prior handyman experience or general construction painting will be considered beneficial
