Redmont Talent Partners is sourcing candidates for a Birmingham, AL based Healthcare Commercial Real estate company looking to hire a Project Coordinator to join their growing team.
Position Summary
The Project Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and project-related support to the project team(s). The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable multitasking among varying clients, teams, and responsibilities. This position plays a key part in upholding the company standards across projects and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to project management teams
- Maintain project files, logs, and systems to support project documentation, submittals, and
closeouts
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines; proactively follow up with team members to ensure completion
- Assist with obtaining insurance, permits, licenses, and jobsite mobilization
- Aid in the preparation of reports and other materials for monthly meetings
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document/distribute meeting minutes with action items
- Route all contracts, purchase orders, and change orders through the appropriate systems and processes
- Support month-end activities, such as compiling dashboards, stakeholder reports, purchase order reconciliation, etc.
- Prepare, distribute, and manage closeout documentation required by contract
- Review payment applications and communicate with vendors on status and issues
- Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting activities
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–4 years of experience as an administrative assistant, project coordinator or similar, preferably within the construction industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint); familiarity with project management and financial platforms, such as Strata, eBuilder, YOGA, Lawson, or Deltek Vantagepoint, a bonus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, track
commitments across a team, and follow through without being prompted
- Excellent written communication skills; ability to draft professional correspondence, summaries, and reports
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
