Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Redmond Service Center in Hudson, NH is hiring.

We're an independent heavy duty truck and RV shop on Rebel Road. Not a dealer, not a chain. Small crew, steady work, and an owner who knows your name and what's in your bay.

What you'll get

What you'll be working on

All makes, all engines. Mack, International, Freightliner, Western Star, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, Isuzu, Hino, Ford, GM — with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT and Allison in the driveline.

Day to day that means:

• Engine diagnostics, repair and full rebuilds
• Aftertreatment, EGR and DPF diagnostics — we're a RoadWarrior dealer
• Electrical and computer diagnostics
• Air brakes, suspension, steering and axles
• Transmissions, clutches and drivetrain
• HVAC and coolant systems
• Hydraulic hose repair
• Welding and fabrication
• DOT inspections and preventive maintenance

We're also a Spartan RV Chassis Service Center, a Cummins-Onan generator dealer, and a Liquid Spring installer. Between fleet trucks, buses, motorhome chassis and generators, no two days look the same. You won't be running the same PM on the same forty trucks for the rest of your career.

What you need

• 2 years turning wrenches on medium or heavy duty diesel
• Your own hand tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice to have — not required

CDL, ASE certifications, Class 8 diagnostic software, welding experience, hydraulics or generator background.
