Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on diesel vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
- Assemble and align various components of diesel engines and related equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems in diesel vehicles to ensure proper functionality.
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely when moving heavy equipment or parts during repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and safety protocols.
- Experience operating forklifts and cranes is preferred but not mandatory.
- Customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their concerns.
