Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

Regular Schedule: Saturdays, 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Floater Availability: Friday & Sunday nights as needed

Position Overview

RedLine Protection Group LLC is seeking reliable, professional, and motivated individuals to join our growing team as On-Call Floater Security Officers.

This position involves providing security coverage at various client locations throughout Rhode Island, including restaurants, lounges, nightlife establishments, and special events.

As an on-call floater, you will be contacted when additional coverage is needed, including open shifts, call-outs, and special assignments.

Additional hours and permanent assignments may become available as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security coverage at various assigned locations.
• Fill open shifts and assist with last-minute staffing needs.
• Monitor entrances, verify identification, and manage access.
• Conduct authorized security screenings and bag checks when required.
• Assist with crowd control, conflict de-escalation, and incident prevention.
• Maintain communication with supervisors.
• Follow company policies and site-specific procedures.
• Report incidents and safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation to different job locations.
• Must be available Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday nights.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Previous security experience is a plus, but not required.
• Nightlife, event security, or hospitality experience is preferred.

Pay & Scheduling

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

This is an on-call floater position. Hours are based on company needs and are not guaranteed.

Reliable officers may be offered additional shifts and considered for permanent weekly assignments as positions become available.
