Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled QE Automation Engineer with strong handson experience in TypeScript and modern UI automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress. The ideal candidate is a technically strong automation engineer who can build scalable frameworks, automate complex UI/API flows, and ensure highquality releases in a fastpaced engineering environment. Wealth Management domain experience is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript with Playwright or Cypress.
- Build robust automated test suites for UI, API, and endtoend scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Perform rootcause analysis on defects and provide detailed, actionable reports.
- Ensure automation coverage for regression, smoke, and functional testing.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to QA best practices.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of QA/QE experience with strong focus on automation.
- Mandatory: Handson experience with TypeScript.
- Strong expertise in Playwright or Cypress (Playwright preferred).
- Experience testing REST APIs (Postman, Axios, SuperTest, etc.).
- Solid understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience with test runners (Jest, Mocha, Vitest) and assertion libraries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong debugging skills using browser dev tools, logs, and network traces.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have
- Wealth Management domain experience (trading, accounts, portfolios, advisory, settlements).
- Performance testing (k6, JMeter).
- Visual regression tools (Percy, Applitools).
- Docker or cloud environment exposure.
- BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
