What are the responsibilities and job description for the GNC Engineering Spring 2026 Intern position at Reditus Space | YC W25?
As a GNC Engineering Intern, you will work directly with Reditus Space’s engineering team to design, develop, and test the GNC algorithms for the ENOS vehicle. You will also play a key role in improving Reditus Space’s core modeling and simulation capabilities. You’ll gain hands-on experience with GNC design for the next generation of reusable spacecraft, from initial design through flight testing.

- Develop and test GNC algorithms for satellite and reentry systems
- Develop and run simulations to analyze vehicle and GNC algorithm performance
- Debug and troubleshoot GNC algorithm issues
- Collaborate with engineers to define GNC requirements and implement clever solutions
- Maintain clear software documentation and utilize version control processes
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or Graduate Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or a related field (senior undergraduate or graduate level)
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and control
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment
- Knowledge of spacecraft systems and operations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
