As a Flight Software Engineering Intern, you will work directly with Reditus Space’s engineering team to design, develop, and test the flight software of the ENOS vehicle. You’ll gain hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of flight software development, from initial design through integrated spacecraft Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) testing.

- Develop and test embedded flight software for satellite systems
- Implement telemetry and command handling protocols
- Debug and troubleshoot flight software issues
- Collaborate with engineers to define and implement flight software interfaces
- Maintain clear software documentation and utilize version control processes
- Support system-level testing and validation of flight software components
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (senior undergraduate or graduate level)
- Strong programming skills in C/C
- Understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Knowledge of spacecraft systems and operations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with flight software frameworks (e.g., NASA cFS, F Prime)
