About the Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program
The Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program is a case management focused program that provides individuals with support to live an independent life in the community. Through a variety of multidisciplinary services that clients can choose from including medication management, therapy, group therapy, health and wellness support, employment services and transportation support, clients can develop skills, access resources and learn ways to manage their emotional and physical health.
What You'll Do
- Greet clients, vendors, couriers, job applicants and other visitors in a consistent, professional and friendly manner adhering to proper security protocol and logging activity.
- Answer phone calls in a timely and welcoming manner and courteously directs the call to the appropriate personnel or program.
- Abide by all HIPPA laws and maintains confidentiality for all clients and medical records.
- Ensure the lobby is constantly staffed during agreed business hours and maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Manage schedules accurately for new appointments, check ins, and follow ups.
- Verify insurance, personal information and account balances. Collects fees when required.
- Ensure that new charts are ready for use and packets are prepared for programs.
- Accurately enter information into the EMR (i.e.: financial information, assessment forms, billing, etc.).
Requirements of the Position:
- High school diploma or GED
- One to Two years of progressively responsible experience.
- Previous experience handling large volume of incoming calls as a receptionist preferred.
- Must possess strong customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
