We are hiring on behalf of a high-growth U.S.-based mail-order pharmacy for a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead and scale its Arizona operations. This role is ideal for a founding-mindset pharmacist who can ensure clinical excellence while building efficient, tech-enabled fulfillment workflows.
Based in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve as the clinical and regulatory lead for the facility, designing compliant processes that support high-volume operations and future multi-state expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Architecture: Design and implement pharmacy fulfillment workflows from the ground up, optimizing for "zero-error" throughput and modern digital integration.
- Regulatory Leadership: Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the Arizona facility, ensuring 100% compliance with Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and FDA regulations.
- Multistate Expansion: Lead the effort to secure and maintain pharmacy facility and individual pharmacist licensure across our target expansion states.
- Strategic Leadership: Report directly to the President, serving as the clinical authority for the product and engineering teams to automate manual tasks and build a "tech-first" pharmacy experience.
- Team Building: Hire, train, and manage a high-performance team of technicians and staff pharmacists as volume scales, establishing the operational standards for the facility.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Arizona Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Multistate Capability: Must hold active licenses in at least 5 additional states or be willing to obtain them via reciprocity immediately (NAPLEX/MPJE).
