What You Can Expect Working in the Software Developer Position

As a Software Developer, you will be primarily developing and maintaining software solutions for the internal LANGE businesses which we support. A typical day will be interacting with business units to understand issues, requirements, building reports, developing and documenting software while continuing to support these solutions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments.

Responsibilities

• Gathers requirements, designs, develops, tests, deploys, documents, and maintains custom software solutions, integrations and reporting to meet business needs.
• Customizes, tests, and maintains third-party software.
• Provides applications-related level 3 support.
• Consults with Business Partners on potential solutions for business specifications.
• Performs the duties of others in the same job family as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in Microsoft .NET framework.
• 2 years of object-oriented design and development.
• Development experience in Microsoft .NET/C# 3.5 , HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Strong SQL knowledge (Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL).
• Working knowledge of computer systems configuration and development techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office desktop productivity tools.
• Effective participant of requirements gathering and requirements analysis.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AJAX, XML, REST,JSON.
• Experience in ERP systems.
• PowerBI experience.
• Experience with third party applications such as Jira, ADP, Paylocity, Sage ERP, and HubSpot.
