Responsibilities
- Prepare and install concrete forms, ensuring proper alignment and stability for pouring operations.
- Install rebar reinforcement according to engineering specifications to strengthen concrete structures.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, sealing, and curing to achieve high-quality surfaces.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment, safely and efficiently on-site.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Assist with carpentry tasks including framing, siding installation, and remodeling projects.
- Support construction management by adhering to safety protocols, maintaining site organization, and coordinating with team members for seamless project flow.
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete forming or framing within a commercial or residential construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and site safety standards.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings essential for precise execution.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, or forklifts is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of construction work.
