Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take beverage and food orders accurately, and deliver exceptional service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and flair
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage preparation
• Manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly, including processing cash transactions and giving correct change
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and assist with bussing tables or clearing dishes as needed
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food industry trends to educate guests and enhance their experience
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
• Assist with opening or closing duties such as setting up bar stations or cleaning work areas to uphold sanitation standards

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or nightclub environments
• Proven ability to handle POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer is essential
• Experience with food safety protocols and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during busy hours
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic math skills for processing sales accurately
• Previous roles involving serving or bartending in high-volume settings like nightclubs or upscale restaurants are advantageous
