Position Overview
RedefinED is seeking a highly professional, relationship driven Donor Relationship Manager with a strong sales background to own and grow a defined book of business consisting of school partners and their surrounding communities. This role is directly responsible for increasing scholarship funding through state and federal tax credit scholarship programs by activating donor engagement within partner school communities.
The Donor Relationship Manager operates with a CEO mindset, is accountable for meeting defined fundraising goals, and serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned schools. This role reports to the Regional Manager and works closely with a Donor Relationship Manager Assistant to ensure consistent execution and follow through.

Key Responsibilities
School Partner and Community Engagement
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned school partners
- Engage school leadership, boards, families, and community members to grow scholarship funding
- Build trust within school communities to increase participation in tax credit scholarship programs
- Conduct frequent in person visits to schools and partner organizations
Tax Credit Scholarship Fundraising
- Drive increased participation and funding through applicable tax credit scholarship programs
- Educate donors, businesses, and community stakeholders on tax credit opportunities
- Collaborate with school leadership to execute strategic fundraising initiatives
- Translate program guidelines into clear, actionable messaging
Book of Business Ownership and Performance
- Own a defined portfolio of schools with assigned fundraising goals
- Meet or exceed performance targets tied to scholarship funding
- Track pipeline activity, outcomes, and conversions using CRM tools
- Identify risks or shortfalls early and proactively implement solutions
Collaboration and Team Leadership
- Work closely with a Donor Relationship Manager Assistant to ensure timely follow up and execution
- Provide direction and priorities to the assistant related to outreach, scheduling, and reporting
- Coordinate with the Regional Manager on strategy, performance, and growth opportunities
Professional Communication and Representation
- Lead professional meetings, presentations, and donor conversations
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively in one on one and group settings
- Represent RedefinED with professionalism, credibility, and executive presence
Required Qualifications
- Sales experience required, with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience managing a pipeline, portfolio, or book of business
- Comfort working in structured, goal driven environments
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and initiative
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently to schools and partner communities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit sales
- Experience with tax credit scholarship programs or education related sales
- Background in community based relationship development
Work Environment and Travel

Compensation and Incentives
- Starting salary of $45,000
