What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Technician position at Redbox Automated Retail, LLC?
The Warehouse Technician troubleshoots and repairs/refurbishes kiosks and individual parts and components while maintaining a high level of quality assurance. This position is located at the Redbox Refurbishment Center in Monroe, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Refurbish, repair and test kiosks, monitors, computers and other components
- Test reclaimed parts and perform quality assurance inspections to meet quality standards
- Salvage kiosk components from obsolete machines
- Properly care for and follow maintenance schedule for all company issued property
- Perform other general warehouse tasks as directed, such as cleaning, moving of kiosks and equipment, sorting and organizing parts and supplies, shipping and receiving, etc.
Education & Experience
- Experience working in a warehouse environment using tools and technical manuals preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs and MS Office
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
- Must be able to use common hand and power tools and equipment
- Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with others
- Must work well independently
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull and stand on a regular and frequent basis throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. occasionally throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a climate that may at times be hot
- Ability to adhere to operating guidelines and procedures and wear necessary safety equipment as needed
- Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures, safety policies, and company protocols
- Ability to communicate safety issues/concerns
