A multi-doctor urgent care focused practice in central Maine is hiring an Urgent Care Veterinarian, full-time or part-time.
The caseload includes same-day sick visits, walk-ins, triage, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, along with a wellness caseload. Experienced colleagues are available to support doctors moving from ER work into urgent care.
Key Highlights:
- Extended weekday hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, plus two Saturdays per month, 8 AM to 1 PM
- No overnights, no on-call, and no holidays
- 3 to 1 staff-to-doctor ratio with technicians, assistants, and CSRs
- Triage, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry in a well-equipped facility
- Flexible scheduling
About You:
- DVM or VMD from an accredited school
- Valid Maine veterinary license, or eligible (active by start date)
- ER, urgent care, or general practice background welcome
- Committed to collaborative teamwork and high-quality care
Benefits:
- $115,000 to $135,000 per year, plus ProSal
- Sign-on bonus available
