Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Lead to oversee field crews performing service, installation, and repair work on rotating equipment and related systems. This hands-on role requires a strong leader who can coordinate daily tasks, maintain clear communication between the field and supervision, and ensure all work meets safety, quality, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in leading by example on every job site.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) assigned crew members during field projects, ensuring adherence to job plans, safety requirements, and company standards.
- Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of field crews, ensuring all equipment, tooling, and documentation are prepared for each assignment.
- Disassemble, inspect, and troubleshoot electric motors, rotating equipment, and other electromechanical systems in the field to determine repair scope and requirements.
- Perform on-site repairs, precision alignments, and diagnostic/performance testing, followed by reassembly and final verification to ensure equipment meets operational standards and customer specifications.
- Perform and oversee inspections, alignments, vibration readings, and operational checks to verify equipment performance and repair accuracy.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for the Field Service Foreman and customers, communicating progress, needs, and any deviations from scope.
- Maintain efficient workflow by overseeing job site setup, coordinating tasks, organizing equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety, customer specifications, and quality control standards.
- Identify, address, and promptly report any safety hazards, quality concerns, or operational issues to supervision, while ensuring job documentation, time records, and service reports are accurate and complete prior to submission.
- Maintain professionalism and represent RSAW with integrity at all customer sites.
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in electrical service repair of rotating electric/mechanical apparatus.
- One to two years of experience managing a crew.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card & Security Passport
- Ability to complete the OSHA Basic Plus Orientation
- Participation in the DISA Program
- Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past three years.
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, on-call, and off-shift as needed.
- Must be able to pass a drug and physical test.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
