Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Electric Motor Technician to assist in the repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will work hands-on with mechanical components, ensuring high-quality repairs through disassembly, troubleshooting, inspection, reassembly, and final testing.

This position follows a 4-days on / 4-days off shift schedule and is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and repair electromechanical equipment with precision.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, mechanical inspections, and diagnostic testing to determine repair requirements.
• Reassemble and conduct final quality control (QC) and performance testing to ensure equipment meets operational standards.
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in electric motor repair, industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, diesel mechanics, or a related field.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable and punctual with excellent communication skills.
• Must pass drug and physical testing.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work in an electric motor shop or similar repair facility.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.
