Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks based on their preferences and promote special menu items or promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor beverage levels to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to enhance the bar menu
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods and special events like banquets or catering functions
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer trends
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, particularly in fine dining or upscale environments
