Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Technician to join our San Angelo, TX operations. This role is critical in preparing, blending, and overseeing the quality of herbicide formulations used in industrial vegetation management processes. The technician will ensure blends meet strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards while supporting operational efficiency. In addition, the technician will be responsible for occasional warehouse duties. Warehouse duties include the professional, efficient, safe and courteous delivery of products to our customers, while also providing support to the Service and Technology department by assisting with the servicing of proprietary equipment, inventory management, and warehouse organization. Key Responsibilities Formulation: Accurately measure, mix, and prepare herbicide blends according to established formulations. Quality Assurance: Perform routine checks to verify blend consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, blending machinery, pumps, and related equipment; conduct routine maintenance and cleaning. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of batch production, quality checks, and inventory usage. Order Fulfilment: Picking, staging, and packing customer orders for shipment. Shipping and Receiving: Unloading inbound freight and loading outbound freight. Inventory Management: Ensuring accuracy of item locations and weight, often involving the use of scanning systems and scales. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper chemical handling, PPE usage, and environmental regulations. Collaboration: Partner with supervisors, field teams, and quality assurance staff to ensure blends meet operational needs. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve blending efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in chemical handling or industrial processes preferred. Prior experience in chemical blending, industrial mixing, or related field strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to read and follow technical instructions, formulas, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Physical ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial environments. Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting. Preferred Skills Knowledge of herbicides, pesticides, or agricultural chemicals. Familiarity with industrial vegetation management processes. Experience with quality assurance procedures in chemical or manufacturing environments. Work Environment Industrial facility setting with exposure to chemical handling processes.
