What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Lead position at Red River Science & Technology?
The Site Lead is responsible for assisting in the effective and efficient management of all government furnished and company acquired assets for assigned program or department consistent with customer requirements, government regulations, and policies and procedures. They also assist in the planning, development, and execution of logistics program activities, including ILS, technical documentation, provisioning, etc.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains property accountability records and inputs using GCSS-Army
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, safety, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Demonstrate ability to organize, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
- Maintain and compile accurate and detailed records.
- Must possess the ability to exercise judgment, initiative, professionalism and tact to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive matters.
- Must be highly organized and desire to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with competing priorities and tight timelines.
- Maintain property books, hand receipts and accountability for all standard and non-standard equipment transferred to the customers.
- Perform physical inventories.
- Responsible for researching, cataloging, posting, editing, and filing all property book documentation.
- Reconcile all balances regularly and submit accurate, auditable financial year-end inventory reports.
- Ensure accuracy of Asset Management System data, making sure anomalies are identified and addressed immediately.
- Verify the accuracy of the data recorded/updated in the designated Asset Management System.
- Ensure accountability and proper tracking mechanisms are used to conform to expected organizational standards and goals.
Other Tasks Include:
- Develop and maintain Quality Control Plan and monitor operations ensuring quality products and services are delivered.
- Ensuring employees adhere to applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Qualifications/Certification:
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in Warehouse Management.
- Associate Degree or higher.
- Able to utilize a Personal computer, Microsoft Office Applications and web-based Data Systems.
- Experience in a military environment.
- Qualified in GCSS-A processes
- Able to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently and have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate both orally and in writing.
Security Requirements
- Must have a SECRET security clearance
- U.S. Citizen
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
