Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 ( $2 shift differential)

Available Shifts (Monday - Friday)

2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Location: 4040 7^th Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102

Introduction:

We are currently searching for a reliable, team-oriented Production Lead with strong communication skills and attention to detail to join our team. As the production Lead, you will be a critical member of our production team, ensuring the efficient and effective running of our production process. You will be responsible for leading a team of production personnel, setting up and maintaining production lines, monitoring production processes, and resolving any issues that may arise. You must have excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as a passion for delivering a quality product. All SunButter employees are expected to maintain a safe workplace environment, adhere to quality standards, and help support the team towards achieving their shared goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Production Activities: Oversee daily production processes, ensuring efficient and timely manufacturing of our SunButter products.
• Quality Control: Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with company and industry standards, reporting any deviations.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and direct production staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
• Inventory & Materials Management: Monitor raw material levels and coordinate with Production Manager to ensure sufficient stock for production needs.
• Machine Operation & Maintenance: Ensure production equipment is operated safely and efficiently; coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce workplace safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency improvements and collaborate with management to implement changes.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, track key performance metrics, and report findings to the Production Manager.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2 years in a production or manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the food or agricultural industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in an environment with exposure to dust and varying temperatures.
