What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Red Oak Greenhouses?
This is a full-time position responsible for performing building and routine maintenance in a greenhouse setting.
Duties & Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Leading a crew of 1 to 10 employees
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling and roof work
- Preventative maintenance on building and machinery
- Have a valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Bending, walking, standing, heights, lifting, reaching for long periods of time.
- On-call every 4th Week
Work Experience:
- Previous working experience in building maintenance, 1 year minimum experience required
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Must be organized and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Possess strong communication skills
