Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to foster a welcoming atmosphere
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure all food handling and food safety protocols are strictly followed to guarantee guest safety
- Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing to keep the dining area clean and organized
- Support catering events by setting up tables, preparing serving stations, and assisting with food preparation when needed
- Respond promptly to guest requests, providing attentive guest relations and resolving any concerns professionally
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including special dietary options, to answer guest questions confidently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service flow during busy functions
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Culinary experience or background in food service enhances ability to handle diverse menu offerings
- Experience working at banquets, catering events, or in a restaurant setting is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and proper serving techniques is essential
- Hotel or coffee shop experience can provide a solid foundation for delivering exceptional service
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tables, and work efficiently under pressure
