Job Overview: *PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION FIRST BEFORE APPLYING*
We work within the city limits of Chicago. We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in various painting techniques and be proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment. We are a primarily EXTERIOR painting company who specialize in mainly metal (stairs, fences, railings, etc.) painting with Interior painting during the winter months.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, scraping, and patching
- Grind rust off of metal and wipe down
- Ensure all safety standards and regulations are followed during the painting process
Experience:
- 2-3 years professionally painting (at a professional company)
- Familiarity with construction painting methods
- Ability to work off tall ladders and heights
- Familiarity with the basic tools such as grinders, hammers, drills
- Experience in restoring surfaces to their original condition
