Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Painter and contractor to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute painting projects according to specifications.
• Apply paint using various methods including hand tools, conventional spray guns, airless paint spraying equipment, and power tools to achieve smooth, even coatings.
• Conduct surface preparation for construction painting projects such as masonry, stucco, drywall, and concrete finishing to ensure long-lasting results.
• Perform restoration and renovation work by matching colors through visual color comparison and implementing appropriate techniques for different materials.
• Follow safety regulations diligently by using respiratory protection, proper scaffolding procedures, and adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites.
• Install fixtures, trim carpentry, and perform minor carpentry tasks such as framing or drywall repairs when needed during projects.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools like hand tools and power tools while ensuring all equipment is in good working condition for efficient project completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction painting including residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, or renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations and the proper use of respiratory protection equipment.
• Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as plastering, caulking, sanding, and masonry work.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise application of paint and coatings.
• Familiarity with various painting methods including airless spray painting, conventional spray guns, hand tools, and power tools.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications.
• Experience with blueprint reading and visual color comparison to match paint colors effectively.
• Knowledge of carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry or fixture installation is a plus; handyman experience is beneficial.
• Construction site experience with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
