What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President, Global FSQA position at Red Kite Recruiting?
Our client, a respected vertically integrated global food manufacturer, is seeking a transformational executive to help lead and elevate Food Safety & Quality Assurance across a complex international manufacturing network.
This is not a “sit in corporate and review dashboards” type of role.
This is a hands-on, highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complex manufacturing environments, understands how to influence across cultures, and wants to help shape food safety strategy on a truly global scale.
The organization operates across North America, Europe, and Asia with a diverse manufacturing footprint that includes both primary processing and further processed protein operations.

✔ Understands both the science AND the business of food safety
✔ Has strong experience within meat manufacturing environments (international manufacturing exposure is highly preferred)
✔ Can influence across multiple countries, cultures, and operational teams
✔ Is comfortable leading through a matrix organization without relying on large direct-report structures
✔ Knows how to balance technical credibility with relationship-building and strategic leadership
✔ Can drive global standards while respecting regional differences and operational realities
✔ Enjoys rolling up their sleeves and helping teams solve real-world problems
This role offers:
🔹 Significant global exposure across multiple continents
🔹 Direct visibility to executive leadership
🔹 Opportunity to shape and influence global FSQA strategy
🔹 A highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
🔹 Broad operational complexity spanning slaughter, further processing, supplier programs, sanitation, audits, and policy development
🔹 International travel and cross-functional leadership opportunities
🔹 The chance to make a meaningful impact on a globally recognized food manufacturing platform
Ideal candidates may come from:
• Protein manufacturing
• Global food manufacturing organizations
• Multi-site FSQA leadership roles
• Operations-facing quality leadership environments
• Organizations requiring strong cultural agility and international collaboration
This opportunity could be an excellent fit for someone who:
✔ Wants broader global influence
✔ Enjoys solving complex food safety challenges
✔ Is energized by multicultural collaboration
✔ Prefers impact and visibility over large corporate bureaucracy
✔ Wants to help build the future of global FSQA within a growing organization
