Responsibilities
- Lead and manage carpentry projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, siding, and concrete forming.
- Assess project requirements and fabricate necessary components to meet specifications.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices in best practices and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, particularly within the restoration industry.
- Experience with water damage restoration techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to plumb structures accurately and fabricate custom solutions as needed.
