- Open daytime availability to do a few walks Monday-Friday, ALL FIVE DAYS. Please don't apply if you can only do mornings, nights, or weekends.
Overview
We are searching for a long-term dog walker (pet sitting opportunities also available). This is a 1099'd position, it's $15 per 30 minute walk. You'll have a route around your location to travel from dog to dog, so you must have your own car. Other walking/sitting opportunities are also available in time. Duties
- Walk dogs on a regular schedule, no matter the weather conditions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care.
- Clean up after dogs during walks.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of illness or injury and report to the owner.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, including regular updates on their pets' activities and behavior.
Experience
- Previous experience working with animals in roles such as veterinary technician assistant, kennel attendant, pet groomer, or pet sitter is a plus, but not necessary.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to safely move animals or supplies.
- Strong communication skills combined with a genuine passion for animal care are essential for success in this role. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in pet care while making a meaningful difference in pets’ lives every day!
