What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Red Hospitality & Leisure?
- Oversee complete accounting cycle: GL, AP, AR, payroll, intercompany, and multi-entity consolidations
- Own P&L outcomes across business units—budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly reporting
- Manage month-end/year-end closes, audit processes, and external financial reporting per U.S. GAAP
- Develop, implement, and strengthen internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, financial modeling, cost control, and KPIs
- Administer tax filings, intercompany accounting, cash flow management
- Identify and execute against systems improvement initiatives— reporting enhancements, process automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 3–5 years in progressive accounting/finance roles, including multi-entity consolidation and P&L management
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
- Expertise in U.S. GAAP, compliance, audit readiness, and internal control frameworks
- Strong analytical skills—forecasting, budgeting, variance explanations, scenario modeling
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel/reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Flexible travel (~10%) to support oversight across legal entities
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
